In a statement issued by the Chairman Organizing Committee, Dr. Salman AbdSalam, the lecture is aimed at projecting the University to the outside world in the context of our authentic local cultural indices.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Amidu Olalekan SANNI is the Chief host. Important guests, including royal fathers, FUO BOT members, National Exco of NASFAT, FUO Council members, and dignitaries from across the country are expected at the historic event
The guest lecturer, Prof. Karin Barber is a cultural anthropologist whose research interests span Yoruba culture, religion, oral, and written literature.
