About the Department

The Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, established on January 14th, 2008, is a cornerstone of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CONAS). We offer robust B.Sc. programs in Computer Science, Statistics and Bioinformatics, and Mathematics, each spanning four years and including a vital Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). With a proud history of graduating highly successful alumni in Computer Science and a vibrant student body exceeding two hundred, we're dedicated to fostering creative problem-solvers and lifelong learners. Our programs, including our postgraduate offerings, are fully accredited, ensuring high academic standards and preparing students for dynamic careers in a rapidly evolving technological world.
