<p>Fountain University, Osogbo, welcomed a delegation from the Egyptian Mission Board on a supervisory visit to its resident Arabic scholars, reinforcing the institution's growing academic partnership with the Arab Republic of Egypt. The delegation, led by Dr Rido Mustapha, included Sheikh Saheed Abdul Ba'ri Adeleye and other officials of the Egyptian Mission Board. During the visit, Dr Mustapha conveyed the goodwill message of the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria and the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the management and staff of Fountain University. The visit focused on the welfare and academic engagement of the University's resident Egyptian scholars, Hussein Hassan Sayed and Ibrahim Hussein Mitwally, who joined Fountain University on 14 November 2025. Since their arrival, both scholars have become valuable members of the University community, making significant contributions to Arabic language studies, teaching, research, and the academic development of students. Welcoming the delegation, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, expressed appreciation to the Egyptian Mission Board for its continued support and collaboration with the Islamic faith-based University. Professor Karim spoke glowingly of the dedication and professionalism of resident scholars, describing them as valuable assets to the institution. She noted that both scholars have made remarkable contributions to the University's Arabic language programme and have positively impacted students through their teaching, mentorship, and other academic engagements. The Vice Chancellor also reaffirmed the University's commitment to the welfare of the two scholars, stating that Fountain University has consistently prioritised their wellbeing and ensured they enjoy a conducive environment for living and carrying out their academic responsibilities. The supervisory visit further underscored the strong and enduring relationship between Fountain University and the Egyptian Mission Board, reflecting a shared commitment to academic excellence, international collaboration, cultural exchange, and the advancement of Arabic language education.</p>
