Abdul Jaleel Kehinde Shittu, PhD

Professor Abdul Jaleel Kehinde SHITTU obtained his Bachelor of Management Information Systems and Master Information Technology degrees from International Islamic University (2004) and (2007) respectively and PhD at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Malaysia in 2009. His research focuses on Information Technology Outsourcing, Shared Service and Outsourcing, Digital divide, ethnocomputing, IT/IS implementations, and IT project management, Quality assurance, Software engineering process and practices among others. He worked as a lecturer at the Department of Information Systems at the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology, International Islamic University Malaysia. Currently, he lecturred at the Department of Information Technology, Majan College (University College), Sultanate of Oman. He lectured at School of Computing, University Utara Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer from 2010 till 2014 before proceeding to Fountain University Osogbo, Nigeria as an Associate Professor until he reached the pinnacle of his career as Professor in the same university. He was head of department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences in Fountain University and current the Dean of College and Applied Sciences (CONAS) in the same university. He is a member and associate member to several professional bodies, he had published numerous academic works and presented papers at various conferences. He initiated the ITgric project in 2013 while he was a visiting fellow to University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is married and blessed with children.
