Our History

The Bachelor Honors Degree Programme in Business Administration was established with the institution’s inception, aiming to provide a transformative education in business and management. Over the years, the department has witnessed tremendous growth and success, attracting a diverse cohort of students and producing graduates who have excelled in various fields of work.

Student Population

Since its inception, the Department of Business Administration has experienced a significant increase in student enrollment, reflecting the growing demand for quality business education. At present, the department boasts a diverse and vibrant student population, with over a hundred students enrolled across all programs. Many graduates of the program have gone on to distinguish themselves in various fields of work, demonstrating the impact and relevance of the department's education.

Requirements

  1. B. Sc
  2. MBA
  3. M.Sc.
  4. PGDM

The entry requirements shall be at least credit level passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, and any other two to form the core subjects with credit in any other two relevant science subjects, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent. In addition, an acceptable score in the Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination (UTME) as may be determined by the institution is a vital precondition.

Candidates with two A-level passes (graded A-E) at the Advanced Level in one or more relevant subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce, and Financial Accounting) may undertake the three–year degree programme into 200-level. The same thing applies to candidates with JUPEB, OND/NCE (at least lower credit and merit).
