Requirements

  1. B.Sc. Accounting
  2. B.Sc. Banking and Finance
 
 
 
 

Candidates for admission into four year degree in Economics should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate, General Certificate of Education, NECO or their equivalents with at least five credit passes, at not more than two sittings including Mathematics, English Language and Economics.

In addition, candidates must have acceptable passes in UTME.

UTME Subjects:

Candidates for Direct Entry admission shall possess five credits in GEC, SSCE, NECO, or an acceptable grade at Fountain University Degree Foundation Programme, or their equivalents, of which at least two shall be at Advanced Level, provided that such passes are not counted at both levels of the examination. For emphasis, credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and Economics are required.

  1. Candidates shall be allowed to transfer from other universities, provided they:
  2. Purchase and complete the prescribe application forms obtainable from the admissions office of Fountain University;
  3. Hold the minimum requirements for admission into the University; ensure that transcripts of their academic records and special confidential reports on them (are forwarded by appropriate officials of their current institutions) and received in the Admission Office of Fountain University, before commencement of the intended session for which admission is being sought.

Our History

The Department of Accounting and Finance at [University Name] was established in the year 2007, marking the inception of two foundational programs: B.Sc. Degree in Accounting and B.Sc. Degree in Banking and Finance. From its inception, the department has demonstrated impressive growth and success, attracting a cohort of students who have excelled in their respective career paths. Over the years, the department has expanded its offerings to include a Conversion program, providing opportunities for individuals with Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), and National Certificate in Education (NCE) to pursue undergraduate degrees in related fields.
