BELLO, Jamilu

Before entering the academic field, Jamilu Bello worked in IT for ten years. He is a lecturer at Fountain University in Osogbo, Nigeria, in the Department of Mathematical and Computer Sciences. He has a bachelor’s degree from Fountain University Osogbo and a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Ilorin. He studies bioinformatics, soft computing, and deep learning. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities as a Bioinformatician by Training and Academic by Profession, Bello is a registered member of the Nigerian Bioinformatics & Genomics Networking, the International Association of Engineers, and the Institute of Customer Relationship Management. His dedication to expanding computer science knowledge is demonstrated by his presentations at conferences and publications in national and international journals. Jamilu is intensely interested in education, athletics, and community service outside work.
