The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, is proud to join with Muslim communities around the world in celebrating this year’s Eid-ul-Adha, just as she called on all to see the ceremony as an opportunity to promote unity, solidarity, and shared values as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail (Alaehim Salam).
In a timely twist, Prof. Karim also hinted that Fountain University is preparing to launch its fresh and innovative College of Arts and Education in the next academic session.
In her statement, Prof. Karim said, “Eid-ul-Adha symbolizes the act of sacrifice and selflessness, serving as a reminder of our commitment to one another and our larger community.”
“Today, as we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the progress we have made toward launching the College of Art and Education at Fountain University. Together, our community has overcome challenges, embraced the opportunity, and brought us closer to fulfilling our vision of making Fountain University a growing centre of academic excellence,” she added.
With the College of Arts and Education’s inauguration on the horizon, Fountain University eagerly anticipates the impact of the incoming scholars and candidates who will join the institution in the next academic session.
Fountain University remains committed to preparing outstanding leaders, uplifting its community, and nurturing students’ values and dedication, all of which are particularly resonant at a time when Muslims worldwide share in this significant festival of Eid-ul-Adha.
