FUO VC Joins Female Peers, Other Vice Chancellors at Executive Leadership Development Programme

The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim recently attended a three-day Executive Leadership Development Programme for the Committees of Vice Chancellors.

The training with the theme “Organizational wellness for improving innovation and resilience in Nigerian Universities” provided a platform for Prof. Karim to specially engage with seven other female Vice Chancellors from across the country which provided a unique platform for fostering collaboration, exchanging best practices, and finding viable solutions to address shared challenges.

Discussions over the course of the programme explored various strategies to enhance organizational wellness within Nigerian universities as well as topics such as fostering innovation, cultivating resilience, and engaging with stakeholders to address the multifaceted challenges faced by higher education institutions.

The collective efforts of Prof. Karim and her fellow Vice Chancellors are expected to have a ripple effect throughout Nigerian universities, as the establishment of an environment conducive to organizational wellness will dramatically impact student outcomes, faculty engagement, and institutional effectiveness.
