Biography

Rasheed Ademola ADEBIYI holds a PhD in Strategic Communication from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He was a 2022 Fellow of the Solutions Journalism African Initiative Fellowship. He is interested in media innovation, strategic communication for profit and non-profit organisations. He is a member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON); Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); International Association of Media & Communication Research (IAMCR); and African Council for Communication Education (ACCE). He is Co-Founder/Editor-in-Chief of SUSA Africa, and Team Lead, Abito Citta (Media) Innovation Lab where he oversees research and interventions in media reportage, information pollution and media innovation. He teaches PR & Advertising; News Writing and Reporting as well as Development Communication.
