Mrs. Adegbore Abidemi Kafayat is a public health professional passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, and behavioural change communication as a strategy for keeping the public in public health. With a background in Biochemistry, Adegbore had her Masters’s degree in Public Health with a specialization in Health Promotion and Education. She is currently running her Ph.D. program in the Department of Health Promotion and Education, Faculty of Public Health, University of Ibadan with an interest in an interventional study on the proper utilization of Insecticide Treated Net through Behavioural Change Communication strategy among the community members.
Adegbore is an Early Career Researcher who despite being a post-graduate student is also an educator dedicated to teaching students the principles involved in the field of public health towards becoming a global change agent for health-promoting behaviours. Mrs. Adegbore has few publications to her name at the moment with the hope of more additions in reputable journals shortly. As a lecturer in the Department of Public Health, College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, Fountain University, Osogbo, she is committed to training, inspiring, Motivating, and mentoring the next generation of public health scientists and leaders with the skills and competencies for preventing diseases, prolonging lives and maintaining general well being among the population.
