Biography

Dr. Adeleke Taofik TOWOLAWI is a craving, vibrant, and young tutor with inherent dedication to sustainable development and management research. He completed his PhD. in Environmental Systems and Climate Change with the research-grant of the World Bank between 2016 to 2023 in FUNAAB, Nigeria, where his research focused on the adoption of analytical techniques for climate change indication cum ecotoxicology.
Dr. A. T. Towolawi has published thirty-four articles in reputably local and international journals with nine first-authored to his academic credit: two from his MSc. dissertation and seven from his PhD thesis as at March 2024. He is a perfect research collaborator with the understanding of SDG 17. Dr. Towolawi teaches Environmental Impact Techniques (CHM 897), Biometeorology (EHS 521), Radiation Health and Control (EHS 519), Industrial Safety and Hygiene (EHS 515), Environmental Health Information Systems (EHS 307), Sewage and Wastewater Management Systems (EHS 303), Control of Communicable and Non-communicable Diseases (EHS 520), Monitoring and Evaluation in Environmental Health (EHS 504), Research Methodology (EHS 308), Biodiversity, Climate Change, and Contemporary Issues (EHS 216), and Seminars in Public/ Environmental Health (EHS 208).
As a lecturer in the Department of Environmental Health Science, College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, Fountain University, he is committed to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of scientists.

  • Integration of SDGs 1, 3, 6, 11, 13-15 into research till 2030,
  • Aquatic and fish toxicology in the hands of natural products,
  • Green chemistry, circular economy and waste management
