Biography

Oke, Adesoji Aderemi is an indigene of Ikirun, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. He was born on 25th of November, 1967. He attended Inisa Grammar School, Inisa, Osun State between i977 and 1982. He proceeded to Ogwashi-Uku Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, in then  Bendel State, now Delta State, for his National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy between 1982 and 1984. He attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State for his Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy between 1987 and 1989. He went to University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, Borno State for his Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Master in Business Administration (MBA) Finance option between 1996 and 1997 and 1998 and 2000 respectively. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2008. In 2011, he proceeded to Joseph Ayodele Babalola University (JABU),Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State for a B.Sc Conversion Programme in Accounting. He attended Imo State University, Owerri between 2013 and 2016 for his M.Sc Accounting. He is currently on his PhD at the Kwara State University, Malete-Ilorin. He has lectured at Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, Borno State and Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State. He now lectures at Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State. His areas of research include Effect of International Financial Reporting Standards on the Performance of Listed Companies in Nigeria and Forensic Accounting.
