Biography

Ismaila Okunoye, an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, is currently a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. His research interest over the years have been in the areas of international economics, energy studies and development economics and practice. He has done previous work in trade and investment, energy economics and trade policy and applied his excellent knowledge of applied econometrics, macro and microeconomic modelling, and policy analysis to household analysis, energy studies, and small and medium enterprises, which gave birth to his doctoral thesis in the area of international trade and firm-level studies in applying his knowledge of trade policy and microeconomic modelling to firm-level analysis. Okunoye is a member of leading academic associations, including the Nigerian Economic Society (NES),the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics (NAEE), and the Economics Science Association (ESA) Europe.
