Biography

Basit Olatunji is a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Linguistics, Fountain University, Osogbo, Nigeria. He is a poet and essayist. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in English from Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo and a master’s degree in English Literature from University of Ibadan. He is currently pursuing his PhD in African Literature from University of Ibadan. He has been on the editorial board of Ijagun Poetry Journal since inception. His poems and articles have been published in international journals such as Literary Yard, The New Asian Writing, Ijagun Poetry Journal, Micropoetry, Ake Review and Academia Letters. He is the author of Rainbow in my Heart (Poems) and Going Back in Time (Short Stories).
