Biography

Azeez Sanni is a dedicated scholar in mass communication and media studies and a researcher with a passion for advancing the field of communication, generally. He completed his Ph.D. in mass communication at the prestigious University of Lagos in 2022, where his research focused on the development of innovative analytical techniques for mitigating the mortality of newspapers in Nigeria. Dr. Sanni has published several research papers in reputable journals locally and internationally and has actively participated in academic conferences and workshops. As a lecturer at Fountain University, Department of Mass Communication, he is committed to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of mass communicators. Before his sojourn into academia, Azeez had worked as a reporter, researcher, and columnist with national newspapers and magazines. He periodically writes features, opinion articles, and other content for media platforms. Azeez has supervised several undergraduate projects and is currently supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
