Fountain University has commenced preparation for its 14th Convocation Ceremony, a week-long celebration set to take place from Wednesday, January 8th to Tuesday, January 14th, 2025. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with academic milestones, spiritual reflection, and community engagement.
The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, and University Community, extends a warm invitation to all to join in this momentous occasion. The week long schedule boasts a diverse range of activities with the major activities including:
Friday, January 10th: The community gathers for a Special Jumuah Service at the university mosque.
Sunday, January 12th: The second edition of the Walimatul Qur’an, a celebration of the successful completion of Qur’anic Recitation by graduating students holds with the Grand Chief Imam of Offa Land, Sheik (Dr.) Muhyideen Salman Hussein as the Guest Lecturer.
Monday, January 13th: The 11th Speaker of the House of Representative, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Rt. Honourable Dimeji Bankole, delivers the Convocation Lecture.
