Fountain University is pleased to announce that it will be awarding scholarships to 190 students from various departments of the university.
This significant milestone marks a substantial increase from last year’s inaugural scholarship awards, where over 50 students received scholarships.
The scholarship awards ceremony will take place on Monday, December 2nd, 2024 coinciding with Rabiul Awwal 30th, 1446 AH at the Eti-Osa Lecture Hall of the university by 2PM prompt. This event underscores the institution’s commitment to supporting academic excellence and providing opportunities for students to achieve their full potential.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, Fountain University has demonstrated a strong dedication to promoting scholarship and academic achievement. Last year’s scholarship awards, which benefited 28 students, including 17 studying Arabic and Islamic Studies, laid the foundation for this year’s expanded programme.
“We are delighted to facilitate scholarships generously provided by five distinguished donors for over 150 students, in addition to the university’s commitment to supporting its scholars. Fountain University remains deeply committed to ensuring access to quality tertiary education for all students,” said Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, Vice Chancellor of Fountain University. “These scholarships will enable our students to focus on their studies, pursue their passions, and make meaningful contributions to their communities,” she added.
The university community and the public are invited to attend the scholarship awards ceremony on Monday, December 2, 2024, by 2 PM.
