Fountain University’s Pioneer Nursing Students Excel in Professional Exam

Fountain University is pleased to announce the outstanding performance of its pioneer 500-level Nursing students in the recent professional examination conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

With scores reaching as high as 89%, Fountain University’s Nursing students have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skills, and dedication to their profession, surpassing the national average of 76% as reported by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Reacting to this achievement, the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Karim, highlighted the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its mission to produce high-quality graduates who can compete globally.

“We are thrilled to witness our students excel and positively impact their chosen field. The College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences, led by Prof. Mariam Adeoye, and the Nursing Science Department, led by Dr. Jubril Umar, have worked tirelessly to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment, resulting in this success,” she remarked.

Prof. Karim also expressed gratitude to the institution’s Proprietor, Nasrul lahi Iil fatih (NASFAT), the Board of Trustees, the Governing Council, and the Department’s Staff members for their support and dedication.
