FUO VC Briefs Security Personnel Ahead of 13th Convocation, Others.

With the prestigious 13th Convocation Ceremony of Fountain University dawning on the horizon, Vice-Chancellor Professor Olayinka Karim has taken center stage in ensuring the event’s seamless success. One of her focus: a robust security apparatus to safeguard students, faculty, dignitaries, and guests throughout the festivities and beyond.

In a recent briefing, Prof. Karim emphasized the significance of the event, not just as a celebration of graduating students’ achievements, but also as a showcase of FUO’s academic excellence and a pivotal moment for fostering stronger ties with stakeholders.

While noting that numerous local and National Security Agencies including the Nigerian Police Force, the Nigerian Police Anti-Bomb Squad, the Federal Road Safety Corps, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Department of State Services (DSS) among others will be on ground to provide support service, Prof. Karim stressed the need for impeccable security arrangements to safeguard this prestigious occasion and uphold the university’s reputation.
