Fountain University, Osogbo, is excited to invite startups to participate in its upcoming business pitch competition during our 13th convocation ceremony. This competition aims to provide a platform for innovative startups to showcase their ideas, receive valuable feedback, and compete for exciting prizes.
To be eligible to participate, your startup must meet the following criteria:
- Have a clear and concise business model.
- Be in the pre-seed, or seed stage.
- Have a demonstrably innovative product or service.
- Have a strong team with a passion for success.

Selection Criteria
Startups will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Innovation: Does your startup offer a truly innovative product or service?
- Market Potential: Does your startup address a significant market opportunity?
- Business Model: Is your business model sound and sustainable?
- Team: Does your team have the experience and expertise to execute your vision?
- Presentation: Is your pitch clear, concise, and engaging?

Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 3, 2024
Semifinalists Announced: Monday, January 8, 2024
Pitching Event: Tuesday, January 8, 2024
Winners Announced: Tuesday, January 8, 2024
Prizes
- 1st Place: 150,000 naira
- 2nd Place: 100,000 naira
- 3rd Place: 50,000 naira
Additional prizes may also be awarded.
