Fountain University is preparing for its 13th Convocation Ceremony, a week-long celebration set to take place from Sunday, January 7th to Sunday, January 14th, 2024. The event promises a vibrant atmosphere filled with academic milestones, spiritual reflection, and community engagement.
The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, and University Community, extends a warm invitation to all to join in this momentous occasion. The week long schedule boasts a diverse range of activities with the major activities including:
- Sunday, January 7th: The Maiden Walimatul Qur’an, a celebration of the successful completion of Qur’anic Recitation by graduating students.
- Friday, January 12th: The community gathers for a Special Jumuah Service at the university mosque.
- Saturday, January 13th: Renowned scholar, Professor Abdul Rasheed Na’Allah, Professor of Comparative Literature and Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Abuja, Nigeria, delivers the Convocation Lecture.
- Sunday, January 14th: The grand finale arrives with the Conferment of Diplomas, First, Higher, and Honorary Degrees, and Award of Prizes.
