Fountain University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Hikmah University which is aimed at fostering an innovative and mutually beneficial partnership in capacity development for both Staff and Students of both institutions.
The official signing ceremony was held on Friday, 22nd September 2023, at the Council Chamber of Al-Hikmah University, located in Ilorin.
The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim, the Registrar, Mr. Adenekan Sherrif, and two other officials of the University, represented the school. The MoU highlights the collaboration between both parties to improve knowledge and resource sharing, joint Conference and Workshop, Staff and Student exchange, Inter University Competitions, Joint Executive/Certificate Programmes among others.
With this new development, Fountain University will work alongside Al-Himah University on various academic and research-based initiatives. This partnership will also create opportunities for students and staff of Fountain University to engage in joint research activities, potentially leading to critical advancements.

Speaking about the partnership, Vice Chancellor Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Noah Yusuf, expressed excitement and pledged to work relentlessly towards the shared objectives. “Together, we will explore new avenues and create a symbiosis that will not only benefit both establishments, but ultimately contribute to the growth and development of our nation”, he mentioned.
Also present at the short ceremony are the Registrar of Al-Hikmah University, Dr Oladimeji Kazeem, the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. S.M. Nurudeen among other senior staff members of the University.
