Fountain University under the Professor Olayinka Karim-led management team, has introduced Computer-Based Testing (CBT) for the conduct of its first-semester examinations.
This marks a significant step forward for the university, embracing technology to enhance the examination process and provide students with a more efficient and secure testing experience.
Speaking to the Fountain Chronicles Team during an on-the-ground assessment, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka Karim noted that the adoption of CBT aligns with the University’s vision of being a leading university at the forefront of innovation and academic excellence.
“This initiative will not only improve the efficiency and security of our examinations but also provide our students with valuable experience in using technology for assessments, preparing them for the demands of the ever-evolving workplace.”, she added.
The CBT system which started with general courses offered by 100 and 200 level students will be implemented across all faculties and departments, covering a wide range of courses and subjects.
